The 2008 China (Guangzhou) International Information Industry Week is going to be held at the Pazhou Complex of the Canton Fair from 21st to 25th May. This Industry Week aims to promote the extensive use of information technology and the Internet in all aspects of society and the fair will be based on the theme of "advance industrial development with integration and lead the world with digital technology".
The Industry Week will focus on the latest applications of information technology and the achievements in the net communication services, the flat panel display industry, high and new interaction technology and the software industry. The new technology will enable visitors to experience digital TV, digital home features, information services, convenient services and more.
There will be three theme fairs during the Industry WeekĄX(1) The 2008 Information Industry Week Fair, (2) The China (Guangzhou) International Digital Home Industry Fair and, (3) The Asia Flat Panel Display Industry Fair. There are also going to be over ten forums and conferences about the development of the information industry such as the China (Guangzhou) International Summit on the Development of the Digital Home Industry and the Summit on the Development of the Software Industry. Additionally, will be a digital home center for visitors to experience the convenience and comfort of the future digital home.
During the Industry Week, over 400 famous enterprises from China and abroad are going to exhibit their latest technology, products and services. Companies such as China Mobile, China Telecom, China Unicom, TCL, Chi Mei Optoelectronics, and LG Displays will exhibit. The exhibitors, guests and visitors are expected to total up to 40 thousand, among which there are predicted to be 32 thousand specialists.
