Guangdong's foreign trade booked 149.93 billion USD in the first three month this year. Though the province still takes up 26.3 percent, a lion share, of China's total foreign trade, its increase 14.3 percent is much lower than China's 24.6 percent.
Guangdong's export went up 16 percent to 86.73 billion RMB, lower than China's 21.4 percent increase. And its import increased by 12 percent to 63.2 billion RMB, also below China's 28.6 percent. Its export and import account for 28.4 and 23.9 percent of China's total respectively.
