As the study of China is my major course in America, the activities of the Summer Camp in Kaiping have provided me a deeper understanding of the motherland. Before going to Kaiping, I think it is a backward and undeveloped place. But I am so wrong. There are tall buildings, modernized hotels, cinemas, shops and many are being constructed. All these show that China has been under metamorphosis in all aspects, the old China has been disappeared.

Many of the program members are coming with the expectation of being suffered or keeping fit. Unexpectedly the perfect facilities and plentiful food provided by the hotel, deluxe minibuses, and the amiable tour guides make our journey to be a happy one. Many people blame that there are too many food provided to make their weight tremendously increased. From this viewpoint, the Chinese now enjoys a much more abundant food supply than that of the past.
